Once upon a time in a little village of about 200 people, lived a rather strange, from what we heard the town-folk muster under their breath, and quiet young girl who seemed to prefer night to day as she was always out at night and never or barely stepped foot outside her family's home during daytime hours. Her parents, quite quirky themselves, had named her willowby. At the age of thirteen her parents decided to homeschool their daughter, believing that the curriculum was not right for their daughter, let's just say this did not help Willowby with her social skills. She only had made one friend when she first started kindergarten, a young boy, almost as strange as Willowby was. The perfect friendship, at least that is what Willowby and her family thought.  Alas that friendship was not set to become even stronger, at the age of 8, Willowby realized how cruel the world could be when out of the blue one night her best and only friend's parents packed up everything they own an

My attempt at nanowrimo

A Wicked Summer Synopsis The historical townships of freedom, New Hampshire, famous for its homemade cranberry preserves and said to be the location of an old abandoned mansion, which the steady population of 1,303 recalls being haunted or possibly not so abandoned… People dies of course, but not any faster than babies are born. Until that summer… Chapter One - The end of an era It was the last day of high school, and for me the last of my high school career. Everything is all set up for next year, I will be in New York city, studying film making and directing at NYU. I have been looking forward to that ever since I was five, all right perhaps I am exagerating, but let's just say - a while. For the moment, as school is over, I am just looking forward to a nice summer. I have a feeling, however, that it will not be a quiet one but a summer I will remember for the rest of my life as the summer of firsts. Before we get any further in my story, let me tell you more about myself.

Melany's dilemma

Melany never imagine her first time would ever lead to this. A bright, smart, creative and whimsical young woman though fairly shy and reserved with the opposite sex. Making friends had always been treacherous for Melany, and thus from a very young age. She never really felt like she fit in with her peers, looking and being younger at heart, classmates never really associated with her and neither did she, rthe handful of teasing and name calling did not make things any easier for Melany. She retracted into her own little world where life was much more rewarding thus making her happy , easy enough for a girl with highly creative imagination. All through her high school life, Melany had a saying: "I don't need friends, in time of war they can be tortured to give valuable secrets about you." Principally meaning that she did not believe that she could trust anyone. Once the awkward teenage years were over, Melany started college with the great intentions to give people a ch

first attempt at nanowrimo

This is my first attempt for the next nanowrimo. Just jutting down some of my ideas and hopefully it will turn into a good story. The Beginning. Relocating Katie. Educating Katie. Katie: The Teenage Years. Higher Education. Moving Out. The Beginning. During the span of three decades, a number of eventful and some less eventful changes occured in Katie's life. It occured to me that her story needed to be penned-down. Flowing is how her story began. Katie, a bright, sweet and quite whimsical - with a heart of gold - and overly sensitive - always ready to wear her heart on her sleeve at the risk of being hurt - was born in Metrocity from two loving parents, whom as any other have their ups and downs occasionally but her family environment as always been quite loving. Katie is also the only offspring, as you can probably guess she always had the love of her parents all to herself and the perks of being extra spoiled. Even though Katie always was more spoiled than other kids her age wi
